Pyramid lake is a special, prehistoric location that is surrounded by extraordinary rock formations that make for an out of this world setting. The colorful florals and water-inspired tabletop helped tie in the surroundings while also adding the perfect amount of contrast to create a draw-dropping aesthetic for this adventurous wedding styled shoot.
Picking the perfect venue.
Pyramid Lake, Nevada is biggest remnant of ancient Lake Lahontan, an inland sea that once covered the state of Nevada. The surrounding rock formations & how the color of the water changes based on the sky is what inspired this shoot that is full of grays, blues & touches of color to bring the surroundings to life.
Intimate + Adventurous
At this venue, you get to have a truly intimate & adventurous elopement that incorporates such a large part of history. While a lot of this shoot was elegant, we also got to have some fun with it all from the baby blue VW bug that the couple drove around in, to the gorgeous table linen that added unique texture to our tablescape.
The Dress
The dress from Natalie Wynn Design was simple & intricate enough to really bring a feminine touch to a venue that was very masculine. It perfectly contrasted the setting & allowed us to tie in more bold details like the large bridal bouquet that hosted a variety of interesting colors & cascading ribbons. This shoot was a true expression of each vendors creativity & personalities.
